Motor insurance

When do you need motor insurance

While driving or parked on a public road.

If you drive your vehicle on the road, or leave it parked in the street, the law says that you must have motor insurance. It is a criminal offense not to insure your motor vehicle.

The police can ask you to show them your insurance certificate or cover note. If you can't produce the right document on the spot, they will give you seven days to do so at a police station of your choice.

If you are stopped under the 'fixed penalty system', the police can tell you which police station you must go to. If you can't produce a document within seven days, the police can seize your vehicle and sell it (although you can claim back the proceeds of the sale)

Facebook

What is Facebook?

Developed in 2004 by then Harvard University student Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook is a social networking site used by more than 800 million active users in every country on the planet, so far in 70 languages. The site’s minimum age is 13, but teens represent only a minority population on Facebook. It’s used by a lot of adults, certainly including parents. But not just individuals – Facebook’s also used by businesses, organizations and governments all over the world, to send marketing messages, seek charitable funding and communicate with customers and constituents.

Facebook is certainly not the only social networking site. There are thousands of them, based all over the world, some general-interest social sites for people in a specific country and some for specific interest groups in many categories – students, sports fans, film aficionados, cooks, travelers, gamers, music lovers, etc. Some social sites are designed for use on computers, some just for mobile
phones. Facebook is accessed by both.

Search Engine Optimization

What Is SEO?

SEO is the process of improving web pages so they rank high in search engines for a specific keyword phrase. SEO is divided in two categories: on-page optimization and off-page optimization. On-page optimization it refers to every method you use that change the page code; off-page optimization equals link popularity (more on this later)

Choosing the right keywords.

The center of optimization are the keyword phrase(s) for which you want a high ranking in search engines result pages (SERP’s). When you choose you keyword phrase you must take in consideration primarily your market (they must reflect what you sell) , the number of searches for it and the competition for that particularly keyword phrase.

Forex

Fundamental Analysis

Fundamental analysis is a way of looking at the market by analyzing economic, social, and political forces that affects the supply and demand of an asset. If you think about it, this makes a whole lot of sense! Just like in your Economics 101 class, it is supply and demand that determines price.

Using supply and demand as an indicator of where price could be headed is easy. The hard part is analyzing all the factors that affect supply and demand.

In other words, you have to look at different factors to determine whose economy is rockin' like a Taylor Swift song, and whose economy sucks. You have to understand the reasons of why and how certain events like an increase in unemployment affect a country's economy, and ultimately, the level of demand for its currency.

Web Design Check List

Preparation

1. Set Your Goals

Not setting goals is like trying to find your destination without a map or GPS. Write down the goals of your business on a piece of paper and display them in a place where you’ll constantly be reminded of them. They should consist of long term goals (ie make $5000/month so you can spend more time with your family) and short-term goals (ie monthly, weekly, daily). The purpose of short term goals is to achieve your long term ones. Create a timeline for the planning, building and marketing of your site. Without doing this, procrastination may take over your goals. Decide how much money you want to spend to create your site and how much you will invest for its promotion.

Set a target date for what you want your site to achieve – you can always adjust it if you need to. Make a goal for how many visitors you will attract to your site.

Aids and HIV

What is HIV?

HIV is the virus that causes AIDS.  When a person has HIV it means the HIV virus is in his or her body.

When a person has AIDS it means HIV has made it so the body cannot fight off infections. The person may get infections or tumors that the body can no longer fight off.

Since AIDS is an advanced form of an HIV infection, everyone who has AIDS also has HIV. HIV causes AIDS. HIV enters the body through blood, semen, vaginal fluid or breast milk from an infected person.

The body depends on the immune system to fight infections the same way it depends on the digestive system to digest food. The immune system also keeps some types of cancer from taking over the body. With no immune system, a person would die from a simple infection such as a cold or flu.

Diabetes

Introduction

Your doctor says you have diabetes. You can learn how to take care of your diabetes and how to prevent some of the serious problems that diabetes can cause. You may want to share this booklet with your family and friends so they too will understand more about diabetes and how they can help you live a healthy life. And remember, you can always ask your health care team any questions you might have.

What Is Diabetes

Diabetes means your blood glucose, also called blood sugar, is too high. Your blood always has some glucose in it because your body needs glucose for energy to keep you going. But too much glucose in the blood isn’t good for your health.

How do you get high blood glucose?

Glucose comes from the food you eat and is also made in your liver and muscles. Your blood carries the glucose to all the cells in your body. Insulin is a chemical, also called a hormone, made by the pancreas. The pancreas releases insulin into the blood. Insulin helps the glucose from food get into your cells. If your body doesn’t make enough insulin, or if the insulin doesn’t work the way it should, glucose can’t get into your cells. It stays in your blood instead. Your blood glucose level then gets too high, causing prediabetes or diabetes.

Heart attack

 What is a heart attack?

A heart attack occurs when one or more coronary arteries that supply blood to your heart muscle become blocked off. Medically, it is referred to as a myocardial infarction or MI. If the blood supply is cut off for more that a certain period of time, usually about 20 minutes, the muscle cells in the heart which are supplied by that artery may die.

What causes a heart attack?

From early life the coronary arteries which supply oxygenated blood to the heart muscle may narrow because of a build up of fatty plaques on their inner lining. This build up of plaque is due to a condition called “atherosclerosis”. (See Q1. How does the heart work?)

If the plaque inside a coronary artery breaks, a blood clot occurs at this spot. This clot may block off the artery completely. This is when you might feel the symptoms of heart attack.
